A few places to start on the menu

When you are choosing from a long menu, it helps to start with the kind of meal you want. Something with a rich sauce? A plate to build bites with tortillas? Breakfast? Here are a few dishes to look for.

For your own plate

The published menu describes Mole Poblano Enchiladas with chicken breast and chocolate mole sauce, and carnitas cooked in orange juice with guacamole and tortillas. Fish de Veracruz is listed as red snapper with tomato, olives, and capers.

If you are in the mood for breakfast, the menu lists chilaquiles with red or green sauce, huevos rancheros, and a Grande Breakfast Burrito. Ask about the availability of the breakfast selection for the time you plan to visit.

For a table of guests

The catering menu is a separate place to begin. Tacos and enchiladas by the dozen, rice and beans, and by-the-pound meats make different kinds of group meals possible. A favorite restaurant plate does not automatically translate to a tray order.
