Catering 1 minute read

A family gathering, with room for everyone’s favorites

A family meal often brings different appetites to the same table. Some people know exactly what they want; others need to see the choices. Start with your guest list and the way you want to serve the food.

At the restaurant or around your own table

For a restaurant visit, browse the regular menu together. Its children’s section is marked for kids under twelve and includes a cheese quesadilla, bean-and-cheese mini burrito, and other choices. Read the descriptions with anyone who likes to know exactly what is on their plate.

For a meal at home, compare tacos or enchiladas by the dozen with rice and beans, or look at the taco bar selections. Collect dish preferences before choosing quantities so quieter guests get a say too.

Give one person the final list

Keep the agreed menu where the host can find it. That makes it easier to answer “what did we order?” while you are greeting everyone at the door.
