A useful checklist for your next office lunch
An office lunch has a few moving parts: changing attendance, a fixed break, and usually one person keeping track of the order. A short checklist makes the food easier to organize without turning lunch into another meeting.

Before you ask for a quote
Choose one person to collect the guest count and ingredient questions. Ask when everyone expects to eat, including anyone arriving after the main group. Send the catering team one clear set of details rather than several separate estimates.
- Event date and the time lunch will be served.
- Expected number of people, with any uncertainty noted.
- Preferred dishes from the catering menu.
- Pickup contact and the location where food will be served.
Give the table a quick rehearsal
Check how much counter space you have and who will put out plates and utensils. Save the agreed order details where the person collecting the food can find them, and ask how a change in attendance should be reported.
