From party-tray ideas to a confirmed order

Browsing a catering menu is the easy part. Turning a list of dishes into a confirmed order takes a few more details. Keep the menu open while you make your notes so the dish names and quantities are clear.

Make a short list first

Choose the format that suits your gathering. The menu includes items by the dozen, taco bar choices, family meal selections, and meats by the pound. Write the unit next to each dish; two dozen tacos and two pounds of meat are different requests.

Add your date, expected attendance, location, and the time people will eat. If you are unsure how much food to order, say so. Asking for a portion recommendation is more helpful than filling in a quantity just to finish the list.

Confirm the order directly

Confirm availability, quantities, the total, and what is included before making payment arrangements. Keep a copy of the agreed menu and collection details.

An inquiry starts a conversation. Browsing the menu or sending a question does not reserve your date. Ask for confirmation of the order itself.
